So...I went to the midnight showing of Twilight on the first day. I kind of thought th movie might be lame, but I won't turn down an opportunity to do something fun with friends! (I don't often enjoy a movie after I have read the book) We went to the Olive Garden first, and some of the smarter girls among us went home after that. I would be willing to add that my review of the movie could have something to do with the fact that I was tired, but it was the cheesiest, lamest movie I have seen in a while. I was a little sad, because the books are so good. Sorry if that ruins it for anyone that hasn't gone, but sometimes it is good to have low expectations! All in all it was a fun night. The crowd at the theatre was...enjoyable, and I had some good laughs! Tara, Janene, Jessica, Bree and Claudia, it was a blast! (And the Olive Garden crowd...Andrea, Hillary, Cassie and Heather) Let's do it again, at an earlier time...better movie...etc.!

How fun! I'm sad to hear that you didn't like it! Brittany just blogged about how much she loved it. Ha! Now I'm really curious to see what it's like.
Dex, thanks for the negative review. Wendy informed tonight she has no interest in seeing it. Phew! She lost interest in the books by number 3. It was a very proud moment for me.
Of course, she'll probably want to see it next week just to get out of the house . . . .
Thanks for the heads up by the way! I think I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD and then rent it!
