I've been tagged! I think it has happened before, but I have ignored it until now. I am going to do it just because it was my sister-in-law Lisseth that asked, and I like her, so...here goes. Oh yeah, it doesn't mean I don't like those of you who have already tagged me. :)
1. Today I remembered something about my elementary school days when bullying was mentioned at our dinner table. This is embarrassing, but anyone who has heard a few choice stories about me (like when I beat up a doll during the day that I was afraid of during the night) knows that I am a fairly nice girl with occasional bouts of...violence when provoked, I guess? Anyway, there was a boy who was constantly calling me names and teasing me when I was in grade 3, and I just let it go, and sometimes cried at home until one day I had enough and I kicked him...somewhere that wasn't very nice. I can still remember the guilt I felt seeing him lie there the entire recess. Wow. Psycho.
2. I love just being around people and playing games, and talking and whatever. I would do it everyday if it weren't totally irresponsible.
3. I had the same singing teacher as Erica Durance who plays Lois Lane on Smallville. She was a very good singer/performer back then as well. We performed at "Festival" that year: she was the scarecrow, I was the tin man, and Jodi Petersen was the lion. Big names come out of Three Hills...remember Paul Janz? Better look him up.
4. I am going to have to start drawing from my list on Facebook, because I am just about out, I think. When I was 14 my dad put a diamond in my tooth, which remained there until I lost it in June of '08. It is pretty sad. All that remains is a hole, but I hope to get it replaced someday because it became somewhat of a part of me. Also, Erica Durance had one put in after she saw mine. :) I must also note, that I got mine because of how cool it looked on the Thompsons(friends) and Wendy (my older sister).
5. My dad taught me to ride a dirt bike fairly soon after I learned to ride a pedal bike, and it is one of my most missed hobbies. I loved to ride really fast through trails in the mountains and got quite a thrill out of it. My last bike was a Kawasaki KDX 200. (Or was it a 250...it has been a while.) Ahhh. Good times.
6. I went to school at Three Hills School from Kindergarten through grade 12, and I sometimes feel sad that my kids won't have that experience of living in the same place their whole lives. I even had the same best friend for that long and longer. Our mom's were pregnant together. I have some great pictures that I have been meaning to scan, so be on the lookout, Alison!
7. The first time I remember seeing David was when I was 14...it was love at first sight..for me at least! I thought he was the best looking guy I had ever seen, and I still do. :) I wrote his name in all capital letters in my journal and talked about how he asked me to dance and I shook the whole time because I was so nervous.
I am sorry to be lame but I will just tag anyone who feels so inclined.
Oh, and while I am talking about random things...David and I are trying to put family pictures of all of our siblings on our wall, and everyone but Matt and Cami, and Darren and Erin have ignored us!! (Come on guys...just email a origional size picture, oh, and by ignoring I am mostly meaning you, Jon Penny:)

2. Me too Amber. Me too.
4. I had no idea that Erica got one too! Crazy. I'm sorry you lost yours. I don't know how I would cope if I lost mine. It really does become a part of you.
Sorry about the picture. We honestly don't have a single family picture and whenever we go to get one, it just doesn't work out somehow. This Sunday. I PROMISE. Love ya!
Yikes! Hey do you still have the "lovely Fluffy" video? I was thinking of that the other day.
these are all so cute! #7 is adorable! i love it. you are such a fabulous person!
K-I love your random list about yourself. I especially love the part about you beating up that little kid. You should really have taken this self-defense class with us (even though you obviously don't need it). You would have been the star of the class!
Your dirtbike was a kdx 200. I know since we had matching rides. I know this is a kinda old post to be responding to, but you post so seldom that if I check even less often then I'll be surprised by multiple posts. That's not true, I just don't cruise the blog circuit that often.
