Good Day

I never remember to blog, but I had to write a little something about my day yesterday. I am a pretty new runner, but I run just under 5 kilometers 3 days a week, and yesterday we made our best time ever...25minutes, 43 seconds. Very exciting! Also, I have had a leaking, totally rusted disposal in my sink (garbarator for my Canadian friends/relatives...really, does "garbage disposal make ANY sense? Is food garbage?) for quite a while, so I bit the bullet and bought a new one and installed it myself. I may have had some very frustrating moments, and I was shocked that I had to actually connect the cord to the wires on the unit, but I did it, and it works, and nothing leaks, and my kitchen won't stink anymore! It was a proud moment! :)

Amber- you could have saved me $250 bucks! Plus, when the guy removed the old garbage disposal he dropped it and put a whole in my wall. Wow.

That's awesome! Jess just put a garbarator in our sink last week too! I told him he's practically a plumber now. I guess it runs in the family! Way to go on the running time, that is a seriously amazing feat. It feels so good to hit a goal, congrats!

sweet! can we run together at christmas? darren always says he will when we're on holidays and then never does. ever.

boo.

you'd be a much better running companion anyways ... your legs aren't as long as his, are they? ha!

You can pretty much do everything in the world can't you. Well, except maybe fix your sewing machine, but everything else. You'd be equally good to have on a desert island as Jeff--and we could run together.

In my defense, running is for jerks (no offense, jerks!). And also it is way worse than not running, which is one of my favorite pastimes.

But congrats on your many recent accomplishments. I haven't been on your blog in a very long time, but strangely I haven't missed any posts. Awesome.
